VFTB 1/9/22: Sandi Wilson – A Daughter’s Journey into the World of Dementia

“This is your new home now, Dad.” That’s a conversation nobody wants to have, but it’s one that’s familiar to many of us.

Author Sandi Wilson shares the experiences behind her book My Way, a collection of short essays about her father’s transition from independent living into a nursing home and the lessons she’s learned while dealing with the guilt, regret, and pain of being a child who has to make decisions for a parent who can no longer make good choices on their own.
