John Haller 2PAUL WROTE to the church at Corinth that the “rulers of this age” (and he meant spiritual rulers — archons) didn’t understand the Old Testament prophecies of Messiah, “for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory” (1 Cor 2:8).

The apostles didn’t really understand Jesus’ mission, either — they were still asking if he was going to restore the kingdom to Israel 40 days after the Resurrection (Acts 1:6).

So why do we Christians who study prophecy think we’ve got the prophecies of Christ’s return all figured out?

John Haller, host of the excellent Prophecy Update vidcast (also on Vimeo) from Fellowship Bible Chapel in Columbus, Ohio, joins us to discuss the strange habit we Christians have of turning our guns on each other (figuratively speaking) over issues we probably don’t completely understand.
