STORIES OF violence and death are filed almost daily from Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and other hot spots in the Middle East. So this week, we turn to Dr. Victor Khalil, a native Egyptian now living in San Diego, for some good news.
Dr. Khalil is the founder of Arab Lights, a Christian ministry that reaches out to Muslim communities in North America, Europe, and Africa via satellite television programming. He says that the strife in his native Egypt is actually opening doors to share the gospel — and that, in fact, it may be easier to witness to Muslims in Egypt today than in Dearborn, Michigan.
