VFTB 060: Chad Miles — Hearken the Watchmen

Chad Miles

FROM ARMY intelligence to the leading edge of the tech industry, Chad Miles is a man who’s mind is always engaged. He’s a former contributing editor for Defense Watch Magazine and former contributor to The Michigan Journal.  As a political blogger he has written regularly for Right Michigan, Tech Republican, Hip Hop Republican, and The Michigan Minority Report.

In 2006, he jumped into the political arena himself as a long-shot Republican challenger to long-time Congressman John Conyers (D-Mich.).  Suffice it to say that Rep. Conyers still holds the office he’s occupied since 1964.

After he accepted Jesus Christ, Chad began thinking about how to serve.  The result is www.HearkenTheWatchmen.com, a site that brings together a group of excellent, out-of-the-box thinkers and writers on politics, prophecy and the paranormal, including Dr. Chuck Missler, Dr. Chuck Baldwin, Dr. Stephen Yulish, and L.A. Marzulli.  Oh, yeah — Derek, too.

  1. The way not to become compromised in dominion politics or “abdicacy” (cp. Christians legislating morality vice separatism) is very simple.

Jesus (Y’shua) gave us the Kingdom of Heaven as a spiritual reality within, not physical. It’s that great network cast into the ages whereby we are each connected to Him through His Spirit, the Holy Ghost. And those that know that recognize that all other governance is nothing more than passing shadows.

The worldly can not understand nor would ever accept our reality. Even when He returns and the Kingdom is extended into this world openly for 1000 years, they won’t get it, which is why when satan is released he’s again able to deceive those that truly are not connected to Christ — heart to heart.

When the seed of the Kingdom is truly within, then it grows to encompass every aspect of our lives….

Allegiance to the world and its nations and denominations is completely eclipsed. And all that’s left is bowing before and worshiping Him – The Father through Yahshua Messiah.

“To Him that keeps us from falling, to the only wise God, our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever” — while we yet wait “in the Kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ” praying “Come Quickly!”

Dominionism is false. Better to ask about what it tries to copy? And recognize that Jesus did not lightly preach the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven — within!

  2. Excellent interview with Chad. I’m not at all a fan of Christian involvement in today’s political environment. Chad points to exactly why. To legislate righteousness is folly. It’s really a matter of heart. Chad admitted it would be better to do street evangelicalism. I would take that a step further, that our prayer is far more important than our vote. The heart of the nation needs to be changed, and that will happen only by a movement of God, one heart at a time. Any thing else sets us up for the coming persecution. (It’s already here?)

I continue looking at how Jesus interacted with the political leaders of His time. The list is too long to detail here, but bottom line is he interacted with them, but didn’t join in. In fact, quite the opposite, as they strung Him up. And we are to expect anything different for ourselves?
